I’ve always been a big fan of anything and
everything Parisian, especially the fashion side of Pari. I’ve always admired
French models, bloggers, writers, everyday people, you name it. They have a way
of dressing up and dressing down that always looks classy, elegant,
simplistic, sophisticated and elegant all wrapped in one.
There’s this air about them that
emphasizing not trying too hard and I somewhat like that about them. Their
insouciance isn’t too hard to duplicate. Here are a few basics that will help
you nail Parisian style like you’ve lived there your whole life.
A classic black blazer
The black blazer goes from day to night
with no hassles and is a great way to look put together no matter where one is
heading.
An LBD
The little black dress is a classic
standard in the streets of Paris. With the right fit – one can do9 no wrong.
Paired with the right accessories – a girl in an LBD will make a statement.
Basic denims
Denims are the go – to basic for Parisian
women everywhere. Not only are they comfortable they work best for the day to
day run around.
A White shirt
Is a must-have that sets the standard for
most looks. Stylish and chic a white shirt can be worn just about everywhere.
Nude Heels
Parisian women love a bit of height. A
simple nude heel is the perfect shoe to don.
Classic ballet flats
Paired with denims or skirts, you will see
a lot of these with Parisian women. Next to brogues they are the number one
flats to don.
A dazzling red dress
Adding some flavour for nights out – the
red dress isn’t even an option it’s a necessity.
FYI Parisians often stick to neutral
colours – must be why they always look so put together – it’s simple yet draws
you in. You just have to try it.
